4 Months and Surviving the New Year

Once again I have a very quick update! Sadie turned four months old on Sunday! My how time has flown. She is a big, beautiful, and healthy girl. She definitely has some teeth that will be coming through before too long. They haven't broken the skin, but you can certainly feel their presence.

My mom and I took Sadie over to the hospital last Friday to weigh her. With clothes on she came in at 17 lbs 1.5 ounces! She's a chunk, but she's SO long that she doesn't really look all that chunky. But, all of you out there with super skinny children, just know that my kid can take your kid down! (Just kidding - the teacher in me would NEVER encourage such behavior!)

Sadie started at her new sitter on Monday. The little stinker was all smiles and giggles when I left her yesterday morning. I was not nearly in that good a shape. I spent much of my first period, which thankfully is a plan period, trying to get myself pulled together and not in tears. Amy, our sitter, said that she had a great day when I picked her up. She slept on the way home and was happy as a clam when we got home. I'm hoping today's report is equally good. I didn't have as hard a time leaving her this morning. But, I'm certainly ready to go pick her up right now!

Hope all is well with all of you and that your new year's are all off to great beginnings!

Your kid probably could take my kid down, but she'd have to catch him first!

Sadie could take Shay down, but then she'd have to contend with Bryn! :)
Glad to hear that the sitter is working out so far!
